I just recently finished a set of blue and green mugs… I’m calling it the “Earth and Sky” set, for an extended family member. Just a side note… these mugs were all done in the exact same glaze, and the intended color is the blue that you see. Just one of the inherent possibilities when you are dealing with many uncontrollable variables.
I haven’t been to pottery now for about 6 or 8 weeks… I’ve lost count. Yes, this is mostly due to the pregnancy. By the time I get to the evening, I’m just exhausted and the thought of trying to push around clay and interact with people is too much. It’s hard for me to concentrate on what I’m doing when I’ve got people chatting with me, since I’m very much a “stop what I’m doing and listen” type of person. (No… I can’t chew gum and walk at the same time either…) I am starting to feel much better and I’m hoping my energy will make a return as well, and then I’ll be right back at it. If not, I may just switch to a session earlier in the day (I may do that anyway…)

Monday- Mediterranean Tuna Noodle Casserole (never got around to making this last week)
Tuesday- Pizza
Wednesday- Fish Tacos
Thursday- Penne with Mozzarella and Grape tomatoes
Friday-Stuffed Pablanos
Ssaturday- Steaks and salad
Sunday- Whatever is in the house or hasn’t already been made…

Lunches and snacks- avocado sandwiches, lots of fresh veggies and fruit, graham crackers and peanut butter, smoothies

Yeah you… there’s a new pic up in the Baby Monologues… Thought you might like to know…

So, Selah has the really cute thing she does lately. She acts surprised, does a little gasp, and points her finger at whatever it is that she thinks is cool. I’m sure she got it from the adults.
Well, the other day, we were eating at Chipotle, and I was sitting across from Selah, who was in one
of those wonderfully comfortable wooden highchairs. (Which I am sooo thankful for, really, because otherwise, I would never be able to eat out in relative peace.) All of the sudden she looks at me, and pulls the cutesy surprised-gasp-look-and-point, and so I look to see what it is she spotted. No sooner did I turn my head, than she tries to scramble right out of her chair!! Diabolical, I tell you. The girl has skills. I’m kind of scared, she’s not even 2 yet.

Thursday- Cayenne rubbed chicken with avocado salsa
Friday- Crock pot roast beef
